Astrology can teach you to reflect and think through things from multiple lenses. Whether or not you "believe" in astrology is irrelevant.
Nature has a rhythm. The regular pacing of themes as a method of reflection is a powerful way to tune into that rhythm.
In each course, we utilize a framework of focus derived from astrology. The timing of the planets, the structures in a chart, the cadence of different changes in our lives are rhythms we can tune into to focus our work.

In each course, we utilize a framework of focus derived from astrology. The timing of the planets, the structures in a chart, the cadence of different changes in our lives are rhythms we can tune into to focus our work.
The focus is not necessarily to teach you to be an astrologer, but rather to help you learn to "see" a little differently. For this course, you do not need your chart. We are simply exploring the themes of what is in each house.
In each section, you will find some journaling prompts, as well as activities that may be more focused on artists or on creative writers. I encourage you to try both even if you think you are "not really an artist", or "not really a writer". This is an opportunity for you to play with ideas, and to consider your perspective. But also - give yourself permission to skip prompts that don't speak to you. This course will also benefit those who do study astrology by giving a different lens through which to view your studies.
Researchers of the process of learning have found that we learn through our questions. Please engage in the course and with each other.

What prior knowledge do I need?
Our course is designed for everyone, no prior knowledge is required. We work through the houses of the zodiac as topics for reflection. Each topic also includes prompts and assignments for artists, writers, and budding astrologers. A resources section for each topic includes links to online museum exhibits and artworks relevant to the topic. The course is structured in a way that makes it easy for beginners to understand and engage.
How long is the course?
There are 12 "houses" in an astrology chart. The courses are divided into quadrants - each containing three houses.

- Activities to further your reflection, engagement, and creative practice including:

- Creative writing prompts
- Journaling prompts
Courses are broken into three "houses" at a time, and can be taken sequentially or simultaneously, depending on your schedule.
Do I need to know astrology to benefit from the course?
No, this course assumes no prior knowledge of astrology.
What if I'm not an artist?
Trick question! We are all artists. We might not have developed our skill to a level we aspire to be, but we are all artists. You are welcome to join us no matter what level you are at!
